Heather Castro is a paralegal at Fish & Tsang LLP where she assists attorneys on domestic and international matters related to patent and trademark prosecution. Her daily responsibilities include portfolio management, and providing progress reports on the preparation and filing of patent, trademark, and copyright applications. She also maintains regular correspondence with foreign associates.
Heather has extensive experience with PAIRS, US Patent Office Electronic Filing Systems –Web (EFS), TDSR and TEAS, and various docketing systems, including CPI and PATTSY, which she regularly uses in her paralegal work.
Heather’s client-focused approach contributes to the firm’s stellar reputation for delivering quality results. She is client focused, detailed-oriented and is an effectively multi-tasker, which in turn provides clients with timely and focused outcomes to their IP needs.
Education and Professional Experience
Heather received her associate’s degree in liberal arts from Orange Coast College and her paralegal certificate from Coast Community College. Prior to joining Fish & Tsang in 2012, she worked at both large and boutique IP firms in Irvine and Aliso Viejo.
In her spare time, Heather enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, cooking and participating in outdoor activities including mountain biking and hiking.
