Jennifer Shih is an associate attorney at Fish & Tsang and plays a key role as part of the firm’s Silicon Valley office. She represents clients in an array of litigation matters related to patent and trademark infringement, trade secrets and other IP-related issues. Her specialization includes general litigation, intellectual property and patent litigation.
Jennifer excels in the supportive learning environment provided at Fish & Tsang. Her contributions to the drafting of dispositive motions, appellate briefs and covered business method petitions to the US Patent Trial and Appeal Board, coupled with her vast litigation experience, make her an asset to the team. Her hard work and dedication to activities promoting diversity and leadership have helped her achieve the prestigious American Bar Association Young Lawyers Division Scholarship.
Education and Professional Experience
Jennifer received her bachelor’s degree in molecular cell biology from University of California, Berkeley and her juris doctor from University of California, Davis. She serves as co-chair on the Intellectual Property Section of the Asian Bar Association of Silicon Valley as well as on the Education Committee for the Asian Bar Association of the Bay Area. She also is a member of the American Bar Association Young Lawyers Division, and the American Bar Association Science and Technology Lawyer Division. Additionally, Jennifer is admitted to practice before USPTO.
In her free time, Jennifer enjoys running, hiking and walking her dog. Previously, she lived in Taiwan for three years and speaks Mandarin fluently.
