Jennifer Shih, Esq.
Jennifer Shih is a litigation associate in the firm’s Silicon Valley office. She represents clients in an array of litigation matters, including district court and post-grant proceedings before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board (“PTAB”).
Jennifer drafted an appellate briefing in a precedential Federal Circuit case, which affirmed the PTAB’s decision. Jennifer has also drafted successful petitions in inter partes review and covered business method proceedings before the PTAB. Jennifer was also second chair in a 5 day jury trial that resulted in a $7.1 million judgment.
Jennifer is admitted to practice in California, before the Federal Circuit, and the United States Patent and Trademark Office. Jennifer received her bachelor’s degree in Molecular Cell Biology from University of California, Berkeley and her Juris Doctor from University of California, Davis. She serves as a board member and co-chair on the Intellectual Property Section of the Asian Bar Association of Silicon Valley.
Jennifer was selected as a 2017 Northern California Rising Star, Intellectual Property Litigation. Her hard work and dedication to activities promoting diversity and leadership helped her achieve the prestigious American Bar Association Young Lawyers Division Scholarship in 2014.
In her free time, Jennifer enjoys traveling, hiking and walking her dog. Previously, she lived in Taiwan for three years and speaks Mandarin fluently.
