Marie Nuguid is a senior paralegal, and offers Fish IP Law™ valuable assistance in the day-to-day management. Her responsibilities include managing the patent process through all stages of preparation, docketing, filing and reporting progress to clients.
Marie specializes in U.S. and foreign patent and trademark prosecution, and has focused solely on IP law throughout her career.
With more than 15 years of IP experience, Marie’s ability to anticipate attorney and client needs makes her a great addition to the Fish IP Law™ team. She is efficient, timely and dedicated to providing attorneys and clients with needed resources – allowing her to obtain favorable results during the patent process.
Marie is detail-oriented, effective at multitasking and manages time well, skills which are integral for seeing projects through to completion. Her IP experience aligns her performance with attorney expectations and allows the firm to continue delivering top-notch service to its clients. Education and Professional Experience Marie received her bachelor’s degree from Seton Hall University and her juris doctor from Syracuse University College of Law. Prior to Fish IP Law™, Marie worked at several prominent firms, helping clients’ IP dreams come true. Marie also has considerable experience using Lexis Nexis, PAIR, PCT Easy, US Patent Office Electronic Filing System – Web (EFS), TEAS, Delphion, CPI and CPA Docketing Systems.
