Avinash Seth served as the Chief Scientist and Vice President of Research and Development for So Young America Inc. since June 2016, and So Young Life Sciences Corporation since its inception in September 2017 till December 2023. Mr. Seth also served as the Chief Compliance Officer of So Young America Inc. and was responsible for ensuring that all the statutory and regulatory requirements of the company followed FDA cGMP GLP guidelines. Prior to joining So Young Life Sciences, Avinash worked with the Product Launch and Manufacturing team at Gilead Sciences Inc., San Dimas (2014-2016). Since joining So Young America Inc and So Young Life Sciences Corporation, Avinash has filed several disruptive utility patents as the primary inventor in the Biotechnology and Life Sciences Industry which include varied fields such as Stem Cell Biology and Tissue Engineering (Regenerative Medicine), Cancer Therapeutics, Nutritional Sciences etc.

Avinash received a master’s degree in applied biotechnology (with a major in Molecular Biology and Bioinformatics) from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona, and the University of California, Los Angeles. He graduated from both the universities with the highest academic grade and received the distinction of Summa Cum Laude. Avinash received an undergraduate degree in Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology from Manipal University, India. 

Outside work, Avinash is a huge culinary enthusiast and enjoys going to new restaurants with his wife in the Orange County neighborhood. His hobbies include strength training, cooking, reading and watching movies.
