Joseph A. Andelin, Esq.
Joseph Andelin is a senior associate. He oversees the patent portfolio development process for large and small businesses specializing in software and hardware systems, mechanical engineering, medical devices, satellite technology, construction devices, chemical compositions and telecommunications. He also advises clients on other intellectual property (IP) matters, including trademarks, patents, licensing and copyrights.
Joseph personifies a high level of service, providing not only to clients, but also to employees. On the client side, he enjoys connecting with clients to help them find the best IP solutions to their business needs. As one of the senior members of the team, he operates in a leadership capacity by training associate attorneys and interns.
Joseph holds a law degree from University of Southern California and a bachelor’s degree from Brigham Young University. He is a member of the Hispanic Bar Association and Licensing Executive Society. Joseph serves on the firm’s patent prosecution and ethics committees. Previously, Joseph worked as a material science coordinator at CR Foundation in Utah where he tested and evaluated dental materials while publishing articles in the Gordon J. Christensen Clinicians Report®.
In his free time, Joseph enjoys spending time with his wife and children. He also enjoys playing guitar, camping, swimming, surfing and fishing. He also is actively involved with his church.
